SSC owns 100% of the German company
LSE Space Engineering & Operations AG, which provides consultancy services in the fields of satellite control and satellite ground stations. The company's main operations are at Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich and in Darmstadt.
 
The wholly owned subsidiary SSC Chile SA operates the Santiago Satellite Station which was acquired from the University of Chile in 2008. The station provides satellite communication services to satellite owners all over the world.

Universal Space Network Inc. (USN) is a wholly owned subsidiary to SSC since May 2009. USN provides satellite operations services on the American continent. SSC and USN have cooperated for many years, managing the joint global commercial ground station network PrioraNet.
 

SSC also owns all shares in NanoSpace AB, which develops products for the space industry based on MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technology. The company's main customers are, so far, ESA and the Swedish National Space Board.


 
 

The wholly owned subsidiary ECAPS AB conducts extensive development work regarding an environmentally friendly propulsion and positioning system for satellites. The work is partly financed by orders from ESA and the Swedish National Space Board.

SSC is a 5% shareholder of the development company
Progressum AB, the objective of which is to stimulate the industrial growth in the Kiruna region (where SSC's Esrange Space Center is located).
 

 
PARTNERSHIPS

NEAT (North European Aerospace Test range) is a cooperation between SSC and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) which provides the largest overland test range in Europe. The
20 000 sq km restricted airspace is available for tests of aerospace vehicles, with a focus on unmanned vehicles, space systems and missiles.

EuroLaunch is a cooperation between SSC and DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt) regarding sub-orbital services for upper atmosphere and microgravity research. The partnership coordinates the companies' services and infrastructure, providing efficiency and maximum value to scientists and space organizations.
 
 
spaceport-sweden-130b Spaceport Sweden is a co-operation between SSC, ICEHOTEL, LFV Group and Progressum. The aim of Spaceport Sweden is to promote Kiruna as Europe's first and most obvious base for personal suborbital spaceflight. Virgin Galactic has chosen Spaceport Sweden as one of their operational partners. Virgin Galactic is the world's first commercial space line offering "ordinary people" the opportunity to become non-professional astronauts,
