Location
The Santiago Satellite Tracking Station is located in the Metropolitan Region of Chile, 38 kilometres North of Santiago at 33º 08" South latitude, 70º 40" West longitude. The altitude of the site is 723.4 meters ASL. The facility occupies an area of 100 hectares  surrounded by the foothills of the Andes that provide natural protection against man-made electromagnetic interference.

How to get here
The Santiago international airport is  44 km south west of the Station. It is served by several international carriers and all major car hire firms have offices at the airport and in downtown Santiago. The Station is connected via highway to the city of Santiago, 38 kilometers south.
